"Drunk in Public" was his accusation.
But not even the judgment could have saved him.
No one ever asked him what bothers him so bad.
Never, he was asked, to explain why he was so sad.
Hiding his feelings deep down in his heart.
Every time, he was alone at night, it ripped him apart.
Those times he reached for his friend, quick.
If he wouldn't have him, it would make him sick.
Sometimes he would be talking, to his friend, silently.
The last thing they remembered was he went quietly.
Huggin' a bottle of cheap whiskey from Town.
Him and his friend weren't making a sound.
